Sheila Minnie Mueller

Sheila Mueller was born on January 25th 1928 in Mt Clemens, Michigan and on August 29th 2014 she slipped away from us. She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Mueller who passed away 31 years ago to the day. A true love story ending or perhaps just the beginning. She is survived by sons Andrew(Deborah) and Robert(Melanie) Mueller, and daughter Sharl(Vern) Vanotti. Her grandchildren Katlyn, Jake, Holly and Ryan Vanotti; Justin, Jackie, Sarah and Chris Mueller; Jennie, Jarod and Matthew Hoffman. Along with 9 great grandchildren. All whom she loved with everything she had. Sheila was active in her community and dedicated many years volunteering with animals and children. She spent most of her time taking care of anyone she came in contact with and never stopped smiling, no matter what. She loved to cook and was an amazing chef with a penchant for feeding up the entire neighborhood. If you spent just 5 minutes with her you were immediately her friend and the luckiest person in the world for having met her. There has never been nor will there ever be another person on this earth quite like her. No number of words can convey the amount of love and compassion this woman had her heart. We are all better for having known her and the stars in the sky shine a little bit brighter tonight because she's in their presence. Alzheimer's robbed her of many, many things and in the end it finally snubbed out the brightest light in all of our lives. Even with such a terrible disease effecting her, she was able to still do what she did best and bring joy to all those around her. She would share her last piece of food, the shirt off her back, anything she had to make the people around her happy. The world is now missing one of the most selfless and caring people to have ever lived.
